Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department

Welcome to the Sevierville Parks and Recreation online registration website. You can register for lots of activities here. You will find these under our Courses page. You can request a room rental at the Civic Center or you can reserve a Pavilion at our park. Those would be under Facility Rentals.

The City of Sevierville has the distinction of having one of the best Parks & Recreation Departments in the State of Tennessee. Winners of numerous awards, the Parks & Recreation staff implements programs and services for youngsters to the elderly. The department manages the Sevierville Community Center, the Sevierville Civic Center and numerous City Parks.

The department has designed dozens of camps, clinics and programs to satisfy almost any recreational desire. The department is also in charge of the city’s Memorial River Trail Greenway program, the Urban Forestry/Tree City USA program, landscaping of city facilities and parks and other areas throughout the city, maintaining the city's Winterfest lights and provides mowing and landscaping for all City facilities.

 

 

TREE MEMORIALS

The Sevierville Trees/Trails and Beautification Board now offers you three ways to honor loved ones by placement of trees on public grounds in the City of Sevierville. To purchase please go to Courses and search Tree Memoral.

 

Honor's Club

You may make a $50.00 gift in the name of One Person per Gift to assist with Sevierville's Urban Forestry and Beautifcation efforts. This donation and the person's name will be announced at Arbor Day and the name of the person placed on a permanent plaque.

Permanant Plaque and Tree Club

This program offers you the opportunity to pick from one of the three species of trees below and have that tree placed within a park, Greenway or other public space that is available.

Also included is a 4” x 6” marble plaque with two lines available for engraving on the plaque at the base of the tree. In addition, the person’s name being honored will be placed on a plaque in the Community Center lobby and their name will be read aloud at Arbor Day celebration each year, which is normally the last Friday in March annually.

Cost is $250.00 per memorial and includes installation and guaranteed livability of the tree including replacement of the tree if necessary.

Planter Area

Participation in this club allows you to select an area and place the following: a four foot wooden bench, 10" X 5" marble plaque, landscaping, one tree and pavers. 

Also included is a plaque with the name of your loved one placed in the lobby of the Community Center and the name of your loved one read aloud at the annual Arbor Day Celebration.

Cost is $800.00 and includes installation and guaranteed livability of the tree, landscaping and replacement of all components if damaged or vandalized.
